There are times when you may want to have a link that you create at the top of a content page link to a specific part of the same page or a specific part of another page on your site.

Note: When you add a bookmark into a page, it should show you a little grey bookmark icon in the editor where you inserted it into the content. If you don’t see it after you think you added one, it means the place you added it to is not able to take it. Try putting it to the left or right of some text.

Watch a video below on how to add and link to bookmarks

Linking to a bookmark (anchor) within a TAB

If you append the anchor name to the end of the tab link, you can link directly to an anchor inside a tab.

Example:   You want to open the page called children (which is under your ministries main menu item) and open the tab named Vacation-Bible-School… then have it go directly to the vbsinfo bookmark anchor in that tab.   So your link would be this  https://churchname.com/ministries/children/?target=vacation-bible-school#vbsinfo
